We have several positions that we hire for on an ongoing basis.

All positions require a minimum Class 5 drivers license with the ability to obtain Class 3 an asset. Employees are expected to hold or obtain a Manitoba Arborist License or ISA Certified Arborist designation as soon as practical.

Ground Crew

Our entry level position, the ground crew members are integral to efficient operation of our job sites. Primary responsibilities include site set up, assisting the arborists with ropes and rigging, low level tree and shrub pruning, as well as site cleanup. This position requires the use of chainsaws, wood chippers, and stump grinders.  No experience required. Full training is provided. There is the potential for advancement for the right candidates.

Apprentice Arborist

Our mid level position, applicants should have some experience with a tree work crew either on ground crew or working aloft. Experience and understanding of ropes and rigging, operation of all the common tree care tools and machines required. Arborist trainees will be required to perform ground duties as needed but will also get to work at heights with the arborists to learn the craft of tree care. Individuals will be taught to climb via rope and saddle as well as how to use our lifts to access the canopy. All aspects of pruning and tree removal will be demonstrated. Ongoing support and training provided.

Arborist-Climber/Bucket Operator

While the arborist must be familiar and willing to perform  all the responsibilities of the ground crew when required, this position will primarily require working aloft.  Applicants should be experienced in accessing trees via rope and saddle and/or bucket.  Knowledge of proper pruning as well as rigging experience is required. Wages are negotiable depending on qualifications and/or experience. Ongoing training opportunities are provided.
